one more heavy hitter on credo, and this time we could even say two tracks that form an ep as strond as the so far most sold credo-release from 2007 - bullet in your heart. the name tells already some connection to australia and indeed the basic idea came up during alex tour down under in fall 2012 where he played three cities within three days and a total of 9h playtime for which he travelled 64h in total. sydney acid is the main track of the ep, no doubt and hard to describe. it is a pure, driven technotrack with a fierce, no blubby, but very powerful acid bassline aiming at riots on the dancefloor. melbourne dub tells exactly what the track is all about and by the way featuring the sound of the local traffic lights that made alex thinking about creating some tracks related to it.

this special release is the first collaboration between legotek founder nir ivenizki and the newest family member oliver gehrmann and is dedicated to our real analog music world. like the name of this record reveals, those 2 tracks were created with the love to roland, korg and nord instruments.

grant nelson is a name known to many and here he uses his talent spotting skills in bringing together some up and coming producers for his freeze dried label all with his trademark sound.

ascs brand new imprint, diode, kicks off with 3 techno tracks. full of vibrance and the usual production nuances we have come to expect from asc over the years. solenoid is the lead track and gets straight down to business with no messing about. heavy kicks, keys laden with fx, and snappy percussion make this a firm floor tune. on the flip, we have the moody and sinister release, which flirts with darkness, and backing it up is the essential carrier. 3 standout tunes from a name synonymous with quality electronic music.

portuguese troia phonograph kicks off 2013 with a stunning release. pedro goyas music is well known for his past releases on such labels as classic music company, music for freaks, brique rouge, exun, om. the approach is slight different this time (if you are familiar with pedros music). refined, full and risky, that is how we would name it. both tracks are long stories that keep you interested all the way. impressive sound signature, bouncy basslines, tight rhythm section and soul all around turn this record into something that cannot be done by accident or randomly. this is how a deep house record should sound.
